Miranda Loehle is The Island Baker. The possessor of a sweet tooth from an early age, she started baking in high school when a friend’s mom introduced her to cake decorating. Miranda works full time in another field, but her passion is her baking which provides a creative release from the stresses of daily life. Although she has had no formal training in cooking or baking, she certainly wouldn’t rule out becoming a pastry chef if life allowed it! She finds inspiration for her baking in blogs, the many cookbooks in her collection, and ideas from friends and family.
